Tiny room and bed, but friendly staff.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpfull and everything was very clean and orderly. A very welcoming place that can be recommended.

Very well decorated and luxurious place to stay 2 km away from a major thoroughfare. Strategic, excellent location just next door to important train stations, and restaurants, ACCOMMODATING staff.

The air conditioning worked flawlessly, but the bed was super uncomfortable.

I liked the staff, location and price. Moreover the room we stayed was clean.

The room was quite small. We had the room with a balcony- very noisy at night.

The rooms were always clean as well as the bathroom. It was also very quiet during the evenings. For my next visit to Barcelona i would like to stay at this establishment again.

The location is excellent for exploring Eixample, with plenty of local eateries nearby.

The double room was small and the shower had no extractor fan, causing steam to fill the room.

I have to agree with other reviews. The rooms are very poorly ventilated, which makes them hot and uncomfortable to be in, even with the fan on. Apart from that, the facilities, eg. Wifi, bathroom etc worked well. Staff were helpful, although difficult to find at times. For budget accommodation it isn't too bad.

The cleanliness was excellent, with fresh towels every day, and the staff were genuinely polite and eager to help. Located in a great area, everything feels accessible. Ideal if you're looking to explore without the tourist hustle.

Well connected to the city centre both with bus and underground. Room was clean.

The room was really really small and there is no air conditioning (only a fan on the ceiling). Bathroom is not well mainteined but clean. It can be ok for one or two nights, no more, and only at discounted rate. The normal price is definitely too high compared to the quality offered.

I stayed here for 3 nights, the hotel was luxurious, with convenient and ideal location near most tourist spots as well ad important train stations as well as the train station and also tram. I booked a room with a comfy bed, central heating and TV set...

I stayed for 2 nights in a double room. The place was very clean, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The bathroom was a good size and the staff were nice and responsive. Plus, the metro is just around the corner, super convenient. The balcony was a lovely spot to relax ☕

Hotel personnel was friendly (though this did not make up for the terrible condition of the room ). Location is pretty ok if you enjoy walking. It takes quite a while till you get to the metro stop. Yet the hostel is centrally located and not located in a touristic area.

-Each room has a slightly different lay out which explains the variety in guest reviews. We were placed in a prison-like dark room. The only window looked out onto a shaftwall that did not provide a ventilation. All we could see was another window at the other side ( which turned out to belong to the service room of the hostel). - The rooms are not well isolated. It was extremely noisy and unless you are not one of those heavy sleepers, you are likely to wake up a couple of times during your sleep. -The bathroom and the towels were absolutely not properly cleaned. The bathtub was full of stains. I could not dare to take a shower without slippers on. Bath taps were ancient and the shower cap was way past its lifetime. On top of it all, turned out that the drainhole in the bathtub was totally stuck. It was totally gross. After putting everything in perspective and reading other fellow travellers' reviews, I would NOT recommend staying at this hostel. With so many people having complained about this dark, disgraceful room, apparently it is still in use. I would expect Booked.net to liaise with the hotel so that they consider putting a disclaimer and letting travellers know what they are going to be up to in case they get this room for accomodation. If we were not to stay only for one night, I would have left the place on the spot. Cleanliness and a basic but descent room should not come as a luxury, even at a budget hostel.

the building is lovely and the rooms are good value for money with a tv and plenty of storage space, as example. it is in best possible and strategic location to a major thoroughfare, set close to the hotel.
